GAMBLER OUTLAW PRE TUNED 2.15 CLASSIC (CREAM SPONGE)
Use of Pre-Tuned technology makes this rubber an attackers dream. Outlaw relies totally on mechanical grip, (the Japanese technology of creating spin), with high elasticity and sponge that allows for maximum power and friction transfer into the ball. Outlaw was specifically designed for attacking players who will dominate the point mid-distance to away from the table. Better than ever!! Outlaw classic sponge is back. Slightly faster than the lavender sponge, this is the version that hitters tend to prefer. Staff note: This rubber truly does play like a tuned product. Treated in a fume box expanded with nitrous oxide, (NOS), then exposed to a Non VOC gas that locks the expansion in place. Light weight and fast! This rubber goes in the highest speed and spin category, comparable to other companies 50-70USD rubbers.
I've played with this rubber on both FH and BH. It's a great utility rubber that does just about anything. There might be some tackiness out of the package, but the mechanical properties make it shine. It's resilient, light, and a good consistent performer. I would not say it's the most fast and spinney option, but for consistency I would put it up against Yasaka Mark V anytime. Aside from myself, I know of some excellent, experienced players that swear by this product. Recommended.
This is a great rubber that I use on my forehand and backhand. It does everything well and has forgiveness to cover the occasional mistake. Excels at medium distance and has great touch for close to the net shots. Non-tacky surface once broken in, yet generates spin well.
I was skeptical as some forums had some outdated lukewarm reviews. However I called Zeropong and the owner assured me if I had any problems at all that he will warranty the rubber fully for defect. I am very happy with this rubber now after 4 months the rubber just wore out like normal rubber and I am on my 2nd set. I was paying 50$ per side now I am paying 14$ and playing better, as outlaw is more forgiving then my previous choice.. Thanks ZP
Awsome, awesome rubber! No more bubbling or cracking problems and plays just as well as the original Outlaw from over 6 years ago...only grippier and longer lasting topsheet (still insensitive to incoming spin). Highly recommended and, for me, a much better option than any of the big name rubbers out there (like Tenergy, Donic Bluefire M1 etc.).
I waited at least 3 months before posting a review due to the poor longevity reviews. I can conclude that although this product isn't a super durable one, it is by no means fragile and has the average life span you would expect from most rubbers. On soft and passive shots, this is a high control low spin rubber due to the low grip topsheet. Poor serves but good returns. It is an absolute monster on top spin drives. For the all out attack player who favors speed over spin, this is an absolute bargain for the price.
